What options do you provide for your Cloud Servers and Cloud Dedicated Servers?

For both Cloud Servers and Cloud Dedicated Servers, we offer the following options:

Do you provide IPv4 support?

Our Cloud Servers offer a scalable and flexible solution for your computing needs, complete with IPv4 support.

During this operation, once a server fails, will there be any data corruption or interference in the processes running?

All processes will be lost, but not data. Database or filesystem commits are preserved due to our triple replicated storage.

If one server fails, due to CPU or RAM failure, what will happen from a technical perspective? Will the server instance reboot on the cluster, or does it really has the same processes running on a second server?

The server will reboot automatically in another cluster node within 3 minutes.

If we upgrade CPU and RAM resources on HA dedicated servers, how long is the downtime?

The upgrade will take effect after you stop-start your server from your noVNC console through our Secure Customer Portal. Once your server fully reboots, you can view the changes on your server from Manage/Stats tab of your service.

I want HDD storage, can I get any?

We want your server to be as reliable, fast and efficient as possible. That’s why we offer only pure SSD storage. Our SSD storage is triple replicated and self-healing. If you need additional SSD Storage you can purchase it extra, once you have configured and purchased your server, through our secure customer portal.

How often are backups performed?

We perform daily automatic backups of every cPanel account. We keep 7 daily backups for each account. In addition, we keep 4 monthly backups for each account (from the 1rst and 15th day of each month).

Which is the ideal type of Cloud for me?

With so many types of cloud and cloud services available, it is natural for you to be confused. In addition, cloud providers choose to complicate the situation by adding their own names to various cloud offers. We are here to explain all computing services quickly and simply;

Web Hosting: The simplest type of cloud hosting. If you only have an e-commerce or non-commerce website to manage then you do not need to mingle with the overly complicated world of cloud hosting. MassiveGRID provides High Availability Web Hosting for specific needs, from e-commerce to application development and testing.

Platform as a Service (PaaS): Platform-as-a-Service is a cloud platform that allows developers to develop, deploy and manage applications and databases of all types in a user-friendly environment. In addition, PaaS can lead to up to 40% of cloud cost savings, since the pricing model charges only for utilized resources, not resource limits.

Cloud Server: A typically low-cost, low-resource server with shared resources among numerous tenants in a node. Great for startups and new projects or testing, since it is scalable and provides increased flexibility at a good value-for-money. However, established businesses should not expect to run on low-cost cloud servers since “busy neighbor” problems and limited resources can harm them. Bare-Metal Server: In contrast to VMs (virtual machines) they are deployed specifically for the needs of one tenant, not multiple users. I need Internal Networking for multiple servers. How can I get it?

To deploy internal networking you will need to purchase a High Availability Private Cloud that you will then segment in the desired amount of Virtual Machines (VMs) that by default have internal networking. Please note that the HA Private Cloud’s resources should be sufficient for all the VMs you are willing to create

Can you install my Software? *

Absolutely. All new MassiveGRID clients enjoy free SysAdmin Support during the first month, to help you get started. If your needed software is well documented our IT engineers will install it in your virtual dedicated server, for free.

Do you provide free server Migration? *

Yes, please open a ticket after your purchase through our control panel and our engineers will plan the migration on an agreed migration window.

MassiveGRID uses ultra-fast Internet connections from Tier 1 Internet Providers. For the Singapore region, we offer 500MbpsMassiveGRID, unlike the competition, which includes Internet traffic in their service offerings.
